We are happy to announce that our lab head, Dr. André Paschoal, was awarded with a research grant from the The Sao Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP").

This research grant will fund a five-years project focused on the development and optimization of MRI acquisition and analysis methods focused to study the brain clearance mechanisms and the glymphatic system, as well as the translation of these novel MRI methods to the clinical environment. With the aid of this funding, we will strengthen our national and international collaborations, equip our laboratory, as well as fund the hiring of some enthusiastic graduate students interested in pulse sequence design in magnetic resonance imaging, image processing, and the aforementioned applications.
